Bobby is the technical architect for the Stephens family — the one who turns “we need a thing for that” into a working something. Based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, he designs and builds everything from home-automation and irrigation systems to specialty replacement parts and custom solutions that keep daily life running smoothly.
He’s happiest at the intersection of CAD, 3D printing and a good problem worth solving — whether that’s a precise one-off bracket, a Packout organizer that actually fits, or a whole system that quietly runs in the background.
What he works on
- 3D printing & design — functional parts, organizers and custom solutions (many of which end up in the shop).
- Home automation & irrigation — smart-home tinkering and garden systems that keep things growing.
- Custom parts & repairs — modeling and printing the replacement parts you can’t buy anymore.
- Tech help for the community — one-on-one training and product/device planning for small businesses.
Off the workbench
